Writing for Diversity & Inclusion
This is an area of focus where the Procore brand voice can lead our industry. The words we choose must set the example for our competitors and customers. To do this, we must examine and consider perspectives far outside our own.
At Procore, that means seeking out and celebrating diversity in construction, but it also means not characterizing individuals based on their gender, sexual orientation, religion, racial group, or ability unless it's relevant to the discussion.
For many, writing for diversity and inclusion will be new. We expect there to be questions and gray areas. We encourage in cases where you’re not sure, to err on the side of asking.
